Data we collect
When you send an estimate request or briefing-note subscription, we collect your name, email address, engagement interest, optional start month, product or licence context, and message content. Server logs may record IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and basic analytics when consented.
Purposes and legal bases
We process enquiry data to respond to your request and, where appropriate, prepare an engagement proposal. Processing is based on steps prior to entering a contract and on our legitimate interest in operating a professional practice. Analytics cookies, if accepted, help us understand site usage.
Retention
Enquiry records are retained for up to twenty-four months unless a client relationship continues, in which case records follow the retention schedule in the engagement letter (typically seven years for engagement correspondence). Analytics data is retained according to the cookie durations listed on our cookies page.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share information with IT hosting providers acting as processors, professional advisers under confidentiality, or authorities when required by Taiwanese law.
International transfers
Our primary operations and office are in Taiwan. If a processor stores data outside Taiwan, we require contractual safeguards appropriate to the transfer and the sensitivity of the data.
Your rights
Subject to applicable Taiwanese personal-data protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. Security
We apply access controls and transmission safeguards appropriate to a professional services firm. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive identifiers through the website form.
