Services described

Content on this site describes professional audit and assessment services for fintech operators. Descriptions of fees, timelines, and scope are informational. Binding commercial terms appear only in a signed engagement letter.

Intellectual property

All text, layout, branding, and downloadable materials on this site are owned by Northfield Risk & Audit or its licensors. You may not copy, republish, or commercially exploit site content without prior written consent, except for reasonable personal reference use.

Working papers and reports

Upon payment of agreed fees, clients receive the deliverables named in their engagement letter. Working papers remain the property of Northfield unless otherwise agreed. Clients may not represent our findings as a statutory audit opinion unless the engagement letter expressly provides for such an opinion.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under the laws of Taiwan, Northfield is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of this website. For contracted engagements, liability is limited as stated in the engagement letter, typically to fees paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

No reliance without engagement

Website articles and summaries are general guidance on audits for fintech and do not constitute advice tailored to your entity. Do not rely on them as a substitute for a scoped engagement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Courts located in Taiwan shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from website use, subject to any dispute-resolution clause in a signed engagement letter.
